The Cursed of Delhi Purple Sapphire

We all have such things in life which we consider lucky. Being around those things increases our self-confidence and we can do any work properly. But there are things in our world that are considered cursed. Whoever kept these things with them, their lives were completely ruined.
So, in today's blog, I'm gonna tell you about one of the most cursed objects of all time and how this thing affects those, who tried to keep these things with them. So, without wasting any other words let's hop into Today's topic.

Delhi Purple Sapphire

In 1857, when there was a rebellion against the British government in India. During the revolts, a British soldier named Colonel W. Ferris went to the temple of Lord Indra, where he found an unsurpassed and precious stone. This stone is soon known as Delhi Purple Sapphire. He took the stone with him to England. It was probably his biggest mistake because right after the stone arrive his whole family got sick. Not only that they face several financial crises, but then a family member commits suicide, and then the whole family started believing this stone is responsible for all this misfortune.

That's why in 1890, they give this stone to Edward Heron-Allen, who is a well-known writer. As soon as this stone came to Edward, strange things started happening in his life too. Now Edward was a well-educated man but still, he believed in the cursed power of this stone. So, he threw it on a deserted road. But he got a shock when in a few days this stone is delivered to him by a jeweler. Actually, the was found by a homeless person and he sold the stone to a jeweler. Coincidently the jeweler knew Edward and upon seeing this stone he understood that the owner of the stone was Edward. So, he went to Edward's place to return it. After this incident, Edward was so scared that he give this stone to Natural History Museum only on one strict condition they only can take it out of the box after three years of Edward's death and in the future, none of his family members are allowed to even touch the stone. In 1943, after Edward's death, they took out the stone from the box and placed it in a corner of the museum. The museum authority also found a letter written by Edward in that box. It was clearly stated in the letter that whoever owns this stone life will be cursed. And he also advised throwing the stone into the ocean in order to get rid of the cursed. Since then the Delhi Purple Sapphire was kept in the same museum.
