James Dean's Car

 James Dean's Car

Preface

James Dean (8th Feb 1931-30th Sep 1955) was an American actor and he is remembered as a cultural icon of teenage disillusionment and social estrangement, for his most celebrated film, Rebel Without a Cause (1955). He died in a car accident, and he was only 24 years old at that time. People believed that the Porsche 550 Spyder car James had was cursed, and because of this not only James died but also other people too.

Accident & Aftermath

In 1955 when James meets one of his co-stars, seeing James's car, he clearly said that he felt some kind of negative energy from this car and that if James drives this car, then he can die within a week. James took this thing lightly but in reality, something similar happened and James died in the same car accident. Even after this accident, the curse of this car didn't end. After the accident, this damaged car was taken over by George Barris who had also customized this car before. But as soon as it reached the garage, the slipped off from its lever, which broke a mechanic's leg. George immediately decides to sell this car and he sold the engine of this car to Troy McHenry and he sold the drive train to William and sold the tires to a local person. They all customized their car with this cursed car's parts. The next day Troy and William race with each other and both of them got into an accident, in which William was badly injured and Troy died on spot. And the person who bought the tires, his tires burst on their own and a terrible accident happened to him. After the incident, the cars of William and Troy were bought by California Highway Patrol for an exhibition. On the night of the exhibition, the garage caught fire on its own and burned everything up but both of these cars didn't get a single scratch.

The second exhibition was held in a school, where one of these cars slipped from its lever again, which broke a kid's hip bone whose playing near the car. After these incidents, these cars were transported by a truck and that truck also got into an accident on the way. Now the California Highway Patrol also accepted that these cars were really cursed and they decided and sent these cars to Barris. And no one has seen these cars since that day. Now no one knows where these cars disappeared, or who made them disappear. But some people believed that a piece of that car is in The Historic Auto Attractions Museum in Illinois. But there is a lack of solid evidence to prove it.
