Preface

Today's blog topic needs no introduction. Because whoever likes movies of the horror genre has at least heard or watched once about today's topic, The Annabelle Doll. This doll is considered one of the most cursed objects of all time. Three movies have also been made on Doll. The movies are - Annabelle(2014), Annabelle Creation(2017), and Annabelle Comes Home(2019). But a lot of things are shown wrong or changed in the movies. So, today I'm blogging about the true story of Annabelle and what actually happened in reality. So, let's start without wasting any time.

Description

Whenever we see or hear Annabelle's name the first picture came to our mind, is the upper one, but the actual picture of Annabelle's doll is the right one. That's why I mentioned earlier that ' a lot of things are shown wrong or changed in the movies'. Annabelle is an allegedly haunted Raggedy Ann doll. Now if this question is coming to anyone's mind that why a different type of doll was shown in the movie? Because the director of those movies wants to increase and maintain the haunted environment of those movies with time. That's why he alter the same look-alike doll with a scarier-looking doll.

Main Story

In 1970, a girl named Donna get a Doll as her 28th birthday gift from her mother. It is a regular Ann doll. But two days later after getting this doll Donna and her roommate Angie saw something extraordinary. Whenever they put the doll in a particular place before going out of their apartment, the doll changes its place before they came back. In the beginning, they think the doll may have fallen from the table or chair. And slowly with time this doll also started changing rooms and the positions of its hands and feet also started changing. After these incidents, Donna and Angie thought that someone is joking with them because now they get notes with the doll that seemed to have been written by a child. Some such things were written in these notes like 'HELP US, OR, HELP LOU'. Now Lou is Donna and Angie's common friend. These incidents continued for a few days but one day Donna found the hands of this doll covered with blood. Now things crossed all lines so, Donna and Angie took help from a psychic, who performed a ritual named Seance on this doll. During this ritual, they found out that a spirit of a seven years old girl named Annabelle Higgins has entered the doll. That girl died a few years ago at this place when this apartment was not built. The psychic convinced Donna and Angie to keep this doll because it wouldn't hurt or harm them. But that's where things started to get worse. In the beginning, nothing happened but slowly such scary incidents started happening which were very horrible. Donna and Angie's friend Lou didn't like this doll from the beginning and he believed that negative powers are felt from inside this doll. So, one night when Lou sleeping in the same apartment, suddenly he woke up and found himself in a paralyzed state. He couldn't be able to move and then he saw the doll sitting on his chest and strangling him. He lost his senses because of this, and after he came to his senses, he told everything to Donna and Angie. And he also told them that it wasn't a dream, it actually happened last night. After two days there's another incident happens with Lou. Lou and Angie are in the house and they hear a strange sound from Donna's room when Donna was not even in the house. So, Lou goes to check Donna's room, and those sounds stop right after that, he found that Annabelle is in a different room and when he tried to shut the door he feels someone attack him on his chest, and it felt like a demonic force. Lou ran off to his room and found out that he was blood coming out of his chest and there were several deep marks of claws and nails of a child around his chest. Then they called a priest to their house. The priest examine the doll and advised them to contact Ed and Lorraine Warren. Because at that time Ed and Lorraine are very popular because of their experiments on paranormal activity. On getting the news Ed and Lorraine came to investigate the doll at Donna's house. Warrens said that a very powerful spirit is in the doll and the spirit wants to possess one of them and she will keep doing it till she succeeds. And everyone knows the victim is Lou. Because of Lou's request warrens perform an exorcism ritual on the doll with the help of a priest. After finishing the ritual they realized, this spirit is very powerful and that there is only one way to save from this spirit and that is, to break all contact with this doll forever. From then the warrens kept that doll in their Occult Museum under close and cautious supervision. And Annabelle is in the same museum today. If anyone pays a visit to Ed and Lorraine Occult Museum, then anyone can see it too.
